Who We Are Since 1991 The Pregnancy Care Center of the Susquehanna Valley, has been working to restore a culture of life in Central Pennsylvania through counseling, education and residential treatment. We are an evangelical, christian ministry. Our purpose is three-fold and can be described as:
- Prevention – of unwanted pregnancies through abstinence until marriage education for those who are single.
- Intervention - in a crisis pregnancy to provide life-affirming alternatives to abortion.
- Restoration - healing and recovery for those who have experienced an abortion.
Each Year we serve over 700 clients in our office and house about 10 young women and their babies in the Maternity Home. All of our services are strictly confidential and always free of charge. We are committed to serving every person with care and integrity.
The Pregnancy Care Center is affiliated with Care Net; an organization that equips and supports crisis pregnancy centers across North America. Affiliation with Care Net is a mark of excellence in standards of service.
The Pregnancy Care Center is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The Pregnancy Care Center is registered with the Bureau of Charitable Organizations, Pennsylvania Department of State.
